      • Board certification in Cardiology, Nuclear Medicine, or Radiology.
      • 30 CME hours in the 3 years preceding application (15 of which must be nuclear cardiology specific)

      The Certification Board of Nuclear Cardiology requires 30 CME hours in the 3 years preceding the application for recertification. Of these hours, a miminum of 15 must be on the subject of Nuclear Cardiology.

      • 40 Category 1 Credits.

      The State Medical Board of Ohio requires 100 CME hours every two years. Of these, a minimum of 40 must be Category 1 and a maximum of 60 may be Category 2. Residencies and fellowships earn 1 CME Category 1 per week.
