The Certification Board of Nuclear Cardiology requires 30 CME hours in the 3 years preceding the application for recertification. Of these hours, a miminum of 15 must be on the subject of Nuclear Cardiology.

Louisiana State Board of Medical Examiners

3 hours drug diversion training, best practices regarding prescribing of controlled substances, appropriate treatment for addiction
20 AMA PRA Category 1 CME.

The Louisiana State Board of Medical Examiners requires 20 AMA PRA Category 1 CME credits. Practitioners with a Controlled Dangerous Substance (CDS) license are required to complete at least 3 hours drug diversion training, best practices regarding prescribing of controlled substances, appropriate treatment for addiction, and any other matters pertaining to the prescribing of CDS that are deemed appropriate by the licensing board.
