Urology & Kentucky CME Requirements

      • At a Glance

      • By the end of year 4

        • 90 Category 1 CME hours
      • By the end of year 6

        • 1 Patient Safety Module
        • 1 Complete Ethics Module
      • By the end of year 7

        • 90 Category 1 CME hours
      • By the end of year 9

        • MOC Exam (years 7-9)

      The American Board of Urology requires 90 CME hours, 30 of which must be CME Category 1 Credits, to be submitted every 3 years (at level 2 and level 4).
      At year 6, physicians are required to complete 1 Patient Safety Module and 1 Complete Ethics Module.

        60 total hours every 3 years

      • 30 AMA or AOA Approved Category 1 Credits.

      The Kentucky Board of Medical Licensure requires 60 hours of CME credits every three years, of which 30 must be AMA or AOA approved Category 1 hours.
