The American Board of Internal Medicine requires 1 MOC activity every 2 years (which counts towards the MOC points for the current 5-year period), 100 MOC Points every 5 years, and passing of the MOC Exam within 10 years of last passing the exam.

3 hours in prescribing education (One time requirement - within the first 2 years of licensure)
The Arkansas State Medical Board requires 20 hours of CME annually. Of these, 10 must be Category 1 credits and in the physicians primary area of practice. There is a one-time requirement of 3 hours in prescribing education within the first 2 years of licensure. The renewal period ends on the last day of the licensee's birth month.
