        100 total hours every 2 years

      • 20 20 AMA PRA Category 1
      • 12 Patient Safety and/or Risk Management
      • 2 Child Abuse Recognition and Reporting

      The Pennsylvania State Board of Medicine requires 100 CME hours every 2 years. Of these hours, a minimum of 20 must be AMA PRA Category 1, a minimum of 12 must be on the subjects of patient safety and/or risk management, and a minimum of 2 must be on the subject of child abuse recognition and reporting. The remaining credits may be completed through any combination of Category 1 or Category 2 activities.
      Credits on the subjects of office management or practice building will not be accepted.

      • 20 AOA Category 1-A
      • 12 Category 1 or Category 2 on Patient Safety and/or Risk Management

      The Pennsylvania State Board of Osteopathic Medicine requires 100 CME hours every 2 years. Of these hours, a minimum of 20 must be AOA Category 1-A activities, a minimum of 12 hours must be Category 1 or Category 2 activities on the subject of patient safety and risk management. The remaining credits may be completed through any combination of Category 1 or Category 2 activities.
      Credits on the subjects of office management or practice building will not be accepted.
