At a Glance
The American Board of Pediatrics requires 40 self assessment points, 40 Quality Improvement points, and an additional 20 points in either SA or QI, every 5 years. Beginning in 2019, there are two ways to comply with the Part 3 requirement: 1) MOCA-Peds, an innovative continuous assessment approach that delivers 20 questions electronically each quarter, OR 2) Traditional proctored examination at a secure testing facility. Also beginning in 2019, Part 3 will align with your five-year MOC cycle.

60 total hours every 2 years
The Oregon Medical Board requires 60 AMA, AOA, APMA, or AAPA Category 1 hours.
Of these hours, a minimum of 6 must be on the topics of pain management specific and/or the care and treatment of the terminally ill.

Pediatrics Question Bank CME - $599
This activity provides up to 45 Category 1 CME credits as well as 30 ABP Approved Part 2 MOC points for every 150 questions answered. This activity is a great way to complete Category 1 credits, MOC points, and prepare for the Pediatric recertification exam.
