The American Board of Ophthalmology requires 250 AMA PRA Category 1 credits every 10 years. For certificates expiring on or before 12/31/2020, 25 hours must be completed each year. For certificates expiring on 12/13/2021 or later, an average of 25 hours over the 10 year period is sufficient. Of these hours, a minimum of 200 must be on the subject of Ophthalmology. Kansas State Board of Healing Arts

20 Category 1 Credits.

Kansas Board of Healing Arts offers the ability to renew every 1, 2 or 3 years. 50 CME credits are required every year for every year since your last renewal. Of those 50 CMEs, a minimum of 20 must be Category 1 credits and a maximum of 30 credits can be Category 2 credits.
