The American Board of Internal Medicine requires 1 MOC activity every 2 years (which counts towards the MOC points for the current 5-year period), 100 MOC Points every 5 years, and passing of the MOC Exam within 10 years of last passing the exam.

60 Category 1 CME.
3 Pain and Symptom Management CME.

The Michigan Board of Osteopathic Medicine and  Surgery requires 150 CME hours every three years, of which 60 hours must be osteopathic related courses or programs designated as Category 1 or Category 3. Effective Dec. 20th, 2017, a minimum of 3 hours of CME will be required in the area of Pain and Symptom Management.

The Michigan Board of Medicine requires 150 CME hours every three years, of which a minimum of 75 must be Category 1 CME. Additionally, a minimum of 1 hour of of CME must be earned in the area of Medical Ethics. Effective Dec. 6, 2017, a minimum of 3 hours of CME must be earned in the area of Pain and Symptom Management.
