      • By the end of year 10

        • 150 Category 1 CME hours
        • MOC Exam (years 8-10)
        • 1 Patient Safety Module
        • 1 Performance Quality Improvement

      The American Board of Thoracic Surgery requires 150 hours of AMA Category 1 CME hours over a 5 year period.
      Of these hours, a minimum of 75 must be on the broad subject of Cardiothoracic Surgery.

      In addition, each Diplomate must complete the SESATS exercise during the fifth year of their MOC cycle.

        100 total hours every 2 years

      • 50 Category 1 Credits.

      The Delaware Board of Medical Licensure and Discipline requires 100 CME hours/credits, 50 of which must be Category 1 credits, every 2 years.
