      The American Board of Plastic Surgery requires 150 CME hours every 3 years.
      Of these hours, a minimum of 60 must be Category 1 credits, a minimum of 50 must be on the subject of Plastic Surgery, and a minimum of 20 credits on the subject of patient safety.

  • Alabama Board of Medical Examiners and Medical Licensure Commission of Alabama

        25 total hours every 1 year

      • 25 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits.

      For MD/DO accreditation in Alabama, 25 CME credits are required per one year term, of which 25 must be AMA PRA category 1. The Alabama State Board of Medical Examiners does not allow the rollover of credits.
