At a Glance
The American Board of Colon and Rectal Surgery requiers 90 Category 1 CME hours every 3 years. Learners should complete 30 hours of Category 1 CME each year.
Of these hours, a minimum of 50 must be self-assessment activities (with a score of 75% or higher).
The MOC exam must be passed by year 10 of the cycle.
The ABCRS requires ongoing participation in local, regional or national outcomes registry or quality assessment programs.
