The American Board of Pediatrics requires 40 self assessment points, 40 Quality Improvement points, and an additional 20 points in either SA or QI, every 5 years. Beginning in 2019, there are two ways to comply with the Part 3 requirement: 1) MOCA-Peds, an innovative continuous assessment approach that delivers 20 questions electronically each quarter, OR 2) Traditional proctored examination at a secure testing facility. Also beginning in 2019, Part 3 will align with your five-year MOC cycle.

1 Proper Prescribing CME.

The Oklahoma State Board of Osteopathic Examiners requires 16 AOA Category 1 credits. Every other year, one of these hours must be on the topic of the proper prescribing, dispensing, and administering of Controlled Dangerous Substances.
